Summer days...sleeping in, fun at camps, friend play dates, ice cream, swimming, picnics, staying up later...what is there not to love about the summer? The kids had another amazing summer full of fun, laughter, and good memories. We are so thankful for the opportunities they have through camps and the friendships they are forming with their peers. I am so happy I get to spend so many of these days together for I definitely will miss them.
School is back in session! Second grade, here we come. We are so excited about this upcoming year. Aubrey has Mrs. McMahon and Avery has Mrs. Galbraith. So far we are off to a great start and look forward to the rest of it.
July 2019:
Visit with Nana and Grandpa: Another great visit in the books! The kids enjoyed their time with Nana and Grandpa and enjoyed some new activities at a painting store and a bakery where they learned to make ice cream and how to decorate cookies and cupcakes with icing.
July 4th: Home of the free! We are so thankful for our freedom. We had a great time celebrating the holiday with our friends.

Vacation to Branson, Missouri: We went to Branson Missouri on a family trip with Nana, Grandpa, Uncle Joel and Aunt Leah. We had a lot of fun doing so many fun activities together including a Dixie Stampede, watching Samson at a sight and sound theater, riding a mountain roller coaster (3 times!), going to the Titanic museum, miniature golfing, swimming at the resort, and enjoying great meals together. On the way to Branson, we stopped at Hot Springs Arkansas and did a hike with the kids.
