May - June 2022

May flowers brings elementary school graduation!! We loved our five years at Cockrell Elementary and we are ready for the next chapter at Sablatura Middle School. It is hard to beleive that my 10 year olds are off to middle school next year. May they have the best of years and God protect them all of their days.

In May we kicked off raising awareness for Isaiah 1:17 House. This is something we are all excited about and it is a privilege and honor to fulfill our calling to defend the fatherless. I'm excited to see all the things God has in store for this home.

We enjoyed a weekend of Mother's Day. I'm so blessed to be loved by my amazing family. My favorite parts are spending time together and enjoying meals together and snuggling. It doesn't get much better than that.

We are so proud of the girls. They work hard all school year in both AHG and Awanas. In both groups they memorize verses and spend time in God's Word. In AHG they did over 70 hours just in one semester and earned 11 badges! In Awanas they both were able to say their verses each week. Avery was able to say them all in a row without looking at her book (that is about 40 verses!). They both amaze us every day, week, month and year.

Next up was finishing off the 4th grade. The kids did amazing, both achieving all A's for every quarter, and Excellent in Conduct and Work Ethics. We are so proud of them. They loved their 4th grade teachers Mrs Pool (Aubrey) and Mrs. Barton. Cockrell Elementary was an amazing school. Next year we are off to middle school at Sablatura. Let's hope for the best! We ended our school year by kicking off the summer with a pool party. The girls had 13 friends come and they all had a blast. I love their friends and their families. Such a great group of people. I hope they will always have a great group of friends.

We kicked off the summer with a grandparent visit with Nana and Grandpa. As always lots of fun times to be had. Some highlights were celebrating graduation and shopping sprees. Then we jumped right into our summer vacation at Yosemite. Oh we saw so many beautiful sights. The hikes were beautiful and I am so thankful for the great times and memories with the family.

We absolutely think Jason is the best...husband and dad. We are so thankful for everything he does for our family. We celebrated him over the weekend. We ate sushi and went to an arcade on Saturday. On Sunday we went to a new restaurant that he picked out and went to not just one but two escape rooms. One was a murder mystery and another was Alice and Wonderland. We didn't escape either of them but we sure had fun!
