March - April 2019

Welcome Spring! In our case, we have had tons and tons of rainy weather and we can't wait to see the sun again! Despite the rainy weather, we still enjoyed a wonderful spring break in San Antonio and lived it up at a nice resort and visited Six Flags. We came home to a great visit with Grammy and Poppy and enjoyed our time together and celebrating Easter early.
April we celebrated Easter with Nana and Grandpa. Of course we had a fun time decorating eggs, finding Easter eggs and baskets, attending church service celebrating our Risen Lord, meals together and so much more. Aimee, Israel, and Tessa were also able to join us for dinner on Easter. It was a great time being with family.
We are so thankful for all our happy memories and that we are all healthy to enjoy them.

January - February 2019

January was fast and furious! We enjoyed the end of our Christmas break off from school and then dove back into our daily routine. We celebrated Aimee and Tessa's birthday and Dad and Sharon were able to come to join us for both.
Before we knew it we were in the month of February. We have been waiting for February because for us that means we get to enjoy a cruise! Even better, we were joined by Joel and Leah and had a blast. In February, the girls participated in their first derby race. Jay had a lot of fun with the girls over several weeks creating a fast and of course, beautiful, car! The girls both did well and finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in several of their heats. That same evening, the girls got some extra special time with daddy and the annual daddy-daughter dance. What a special day all together.

January 2019:
Just a few pictures from the month. One thing that I love about Texas is that it is warm enough to swim outside in January. We are so lucky!
The kids had career day at school and Aubrey dressed up as a vet and Avery dressed up as a baker. I can't wait to see who they become when they grow up.

February 2019:
Who doesn't love Valentine's Day filled with love, chocolate and valentine's day cards? It gets even better when you leave for a cruise on Valentine's Day! We were so lucky to jump on a cruise boat out of Galveston for a long weekend and even luckier to be joined by Uncle Joel and Aunt Leah as well. It was such great quality time together packed with fun.
